Grandmom Lois Burton

Dear Grandmom Lois passed away on Friday July 14, from complications most likely due to diabetes and age. Dorinda and I had many nice visits with her over the last year on weekends that we drove up to also see Grandmom Adelaide. Her memorial service was held at St Anne's Episcopal Church in Old Lyme CT on July 28th. My mom gave a really wonderful eulogy about how grandmom loved all her kids and grandkids equally. What a fantastic wit she had too! She was always a faithful Christian and we are happy knowing she is with our Lord. She will be interred in FL next to my Granddad Lewis who passed away about 15 years ago.

Losing both grandmothers has been tough, they were both loving and wonderful ladies. At least we were lucky to have so much time with them both, as many people lose their grandparents earlier in life.
